What started out as a bad week became two. Then we leveled off and had another terrible week. At some point it maybe more than variance. Two terrible weeks in a row followed by a week where we didn't rally and just broke even should have a been a clue, but sadly we didn't realize it until Saturday night. Our CBB model was obsolete.
We're not here to try and hide facts or twist our record. It is what it is and we own. For us its just a very very hard lesson in breaking out the noise between variance and approach just not working. After a month of going 131-145-8 and losing almost 60 units, its about time we reach that point.
We've adjusted our model back tested it against all the games this year and last and things we've made the necessary adjustments going forward to try and turn things around. You can't win every year at every sport. We'll continue to grind in the hopes that our new approach is profitable. You'll see our CBB record posted, but we're looking at the rest of this year as a new year, and will separate it from what we've done to this point. As we said, we own what's happened till now, so the bad record will still be here for all to see.
With all that being said and a glint of new light and hope, here's what we're on tonight.
